Switching Gears

I have just touched down in Sydney, Australia and it is bittersweet. Of course I am excited to start a new part of my adventure, but Thailand won me over the last three weeks and I wasn't quite ready to say goodbye to warm clear waters, constant sand between my toes, night market shopping, $6 hour massages and $2 beers.

This morning in Sydney I already spent more money than I would in Thailand for an entire day. This was to be expected though. Also, I do admit, I am relieved to have the luxury of toilets that can flush paper again (pun intended).

So, you want to hear more about my past month traveling? Great, because I will be posting all about it! Look forward to hearing about Shanghai, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, Koh Tao and more (including the group of 13 others who I traveled with and the surprising things I learned from them)...
