I like to think of myself as an optimistic person. Of course, we all have our moments of negativity, but lets not focus on that now.

Today I am feeling quite optimistic about, well, everything. And I wanted to take this time to write a list of things I love. Here it goes.

I love…

coffee with no sugar, hot chocolate from Spain or Prague, massages, rock climbing, reading blogs, typing quickly, brisk walks, fresh air, my friends, my dog, dachshunds, trees, photography, reading, traveling, flying first class, postcards, blank paper, breakfast, getting my nails done, running uphill, photo booths, hiking, tasting cheese, drinking wine, mixed drinks, making lists, the smell of library books, my kindle, Europe, paella, Langkawi, eating brunch, my family, horseback riding, raspberries in my smoothies, hot tubbing, the color green, Napa Valley, road trips, camping, the outdoors, the indoors when it is raining, crossing off an item on my to-do list, drawing with charcoal, poolside afternoons, green tea, toned arms, dates with goat cheese and walnuts, cooking dinner, animals, conversing with elderly people, baking, worn in shoes, new insoles for my shoes, thought out compliments, spooning, pistachios, subtly scented candles, bikram yoga, notifications on my phone, warm towels, balconies, packages in the mail, when my tea is the perfect temperature, playing poker with a low buy in, a song you know all (or most) of the words to, polite strangers, people watching, giving the perfect gift, brand new colored pens, new followers on my blog, blankets, stuffed animals, maps, dirty jokes, dancing, over-sized mugs so that you can actually eat meals out of, my toes, freshly squeezed fruit juice, a complimenting dress, endorphins, blackberry pie, dressing up, seeing my paycheck deposited in my account, when people text back promptly, when my favorite song comes on the radio, tee shirts, asking random questions, listening to stories, laughing so hard I feel like my abs are getting a workout, overcoming a fear, trying something new, the softness of the inside of a new sweatshirt, board games, sunflowers, taking the time to decorate the interior of my future home in my mind, showers, fun facts, lace, spinach feta croissants, reading old letters, finding a quote that resonates with you so much that you want to memorize it and never forget, adding events to my calendar, when I discover a new favorite song, finding patterns in nature, finding cash I forgot about in my pocket, making up songs about what I am doing at the moment  …
